Heather and Ben’s wedding was such an amazing day! The July heat didn’t matter—everyone could feel how happy and in love they were!
The Morning Preparations
The day started with lots of excitement! The groomsmen were at the hotel, joking around and getting ready, while Heather and her bridesmaids prepped at her mom’s house, chatting and having fun in their matching PJs. Getting ready for a wedding is a magical moment and the little hints of "this is it" from the bride are some of my favorite to capture.
From there, we went to Waldenwoods for the first look and all the portraits. Ben's reaction to Heather was nothing but beaming smiles and the private vows afterwards only heightened the intense emotions. From the bridal party photos to the couples portraits, you could feel the love and support from everyone.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place at St. John’s Catholic Church, and one thing I love about this church is that the couple sits facing the crowd, making it much easier to capture their emotions and sweet glances—unlike many other Catholic churches.

The Reception/Wedding at Waldenwoods
Following the ceremony, guests traveled to Waldenwoods for the reception. The expansive tent was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights and tasteful floral arrangements. Despite the sweltering July temperatures, where highs reached 90 degrees, the evening was alive with dancing, heartfelt speeches, and laughter, as guests celebrated Heather and Ben’s love story.
A Heartfelt Celebration
Heather and Ben’s wedding at Waldenwoods was not just a beautiful event; it was a true celebration of their love and the joy shared by their friends and family. Some weddings get too bogged down from the production aspect, but this day was just pure. The warmth of the day, filled with laughter and special moments, will always hold a special place in this photographers heart.
