I hit it off with Jessica and Kyle immediately at their engagement session. This was one of the sweetest, genuine and down-to-earth couples I have ever had the privilege of working with and their wedding images perfectly capture those qualities. Funny story: during their engagement session, while I was getting to know them, Kyle and I discovered that we graduated High School together, but neither of us remembered the other lol.
J&K booked my 6 hour package, which includes 6 hours of wedding coverage, engagement session, 1 photographer, online gallery with digital download and print release. When couples typically book this package, they go into it with an understanding that they typically have to cut coverage for part of their day because there's usually too much to fit in in a short amount of time and we decided that we would cut the getting ready portion of their coverage to be able to fit everything else in.
We started their wedding coverage at Crosspoint Community Church in Walled Lake, MI and this is the church that Kyle grew up in his whole life. Aesthetic wise, it was nothing special, but the sentimental value was and that's all that really matters at the end of the day.
Post-ceremony, we transitioned to Waldenwoods in Howell, MI, where the picturesque setting became the backdrop for portraits and reception celebrations! Adding a fun touch, we incorporated Kyle's Grandfather's GTO into their couple's portraits, infusing a sense of joy and nostalgia into their wedding photos.
Once we wrapped all the portraits, we were able to get into all the fun events of the reception like cake cutting, heartfelt speeches and dances. We rounded out the photography coverage with some stunning sunset portraits adding the perfect finishing touch to their wedding gallery.
